David Myers, 55, of Centralia passed away on Thursday October, 4, 2012 in Centralia. Mr. Myers was born on December 11, 1956 in Centralia the son of Jack & Emma (Rains) Myers. He married Bertha Vera on October 15, 1988 in Las Vegas and she survives in Centralia. In addition to his wife he is survived by his father Jack Myers of Centralia, a step son Johnny Velaso and wife Shelly of Corona, California, a daughter Amy Myers and boyfriend Jason Erbes of Centralia, one son David M. Myers of Salem; and four grandchildren Collin and Parker Velaso, Serena Erbes, and Alexus Jones-Myers, four brothers; James Myers of Kansas, Robert Myers and fiancé Barb of Ashley, Steven Myers and fiancé Debbie Fratman of Centralia, and William Myers of Centralia; one sister Donna Myers (Rink) of Centralia; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Jean Myers on April 6, 2012, a brother-in-law Frank Rink and a great-niece. Mr. Myers was retired as a mechanic for Boeing-McDonnell Douglas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.Memorial Services for David Myers will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Rev. Mark Doane officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
